St John's Football Club

Our games are fast-paced and increasingly football focused, with fun still at the heart, meaning that even new starters easily pick them up. Children begin to understand the importance of team play and matches are gradually introduced.

Children acquire skills to communicate and connect with each other when playing football as part of a team. Playing a team sport gives them the ability to be well integrated as well as to have friends.

We experience a rapid development in the skills and maturity of the children as sports players and team members. They get to combine and hone their skills in exciting games and activities that help them to develop their touch, sense of space, movement and their positions on the pitch.

Class Information
Girls and Boys
Reception - Year 6

Professional coaching Level 2 coaches, first aid trained, safeguarding trained and DBS checked.

Trial session - £3 option available if it’s your child's first time attending. After the trial you will be invited via email to join the club and will be given first refusal on your space!
We offer 48hrs to make a decision before your space is given away to the next child waiting (£23 per month after).

Kit - For the trial if you have a football kit and moulded stud boots brilliant. If not then trainers, shorts, joggers are ok for the trial. Dress them according to the weather. We recommend not using PE kit as they are likely to get muddy and they need their PE kit for school.

If they are booked to regularly attend the club they need velcro / non laced football boots (if they can't do their own laces) with moulded studs (not metal studs), shin pads, football socks. The boots and shin pads are for protection. Sports Direct or Decathlon are good places for these items.
Children go straight to the after school club from class. Collect them at the normal pick up point. The coach will bring them over at the end of the session.

We also have a Soccer School. Click here for more info
